The revolutionary new Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projector' uses cutting edge technology to produce the most natural and effective wavelengths of Infra-Red. These are Infra-Red- A' and Infra- Red-B'.
These vital wavelengths have been almost impossible to replicate within a lamp up until now.
The sun provides us with heat through Infra-Red- A and Infra-Red- B but not Infra-Red- C which is filtered out by the atmosphere.
Infra-red- A and infra-red- B provides heat deep within the muscle tissues, warming the animalÊthroughout just as it would in the wild. This is the warm tingly feeling that you experience when you walk out into natural sunlight.
The Arcadia Reptile 'Deep Heat Projector' provides essential heat deep into the body in a safe andÊnatural way as a usable flood'. This will allow captive animals to use heat just as they would in the wild, without the risk of overheating associated with tight beam heat lamps.
The Arcadia Reptile 'Deep Heat Projector' uses far less power! In-Fact a 50w Deep Heat projector can outperform a 100w CHE or tungsten heating lamp.
The 'Deep Heat Projector' has an internal reflector, this means far less of the heat is wasted. It also heats up very quickly, reaching target basking temperature in a fraction of the usual time.
The Deep Heat Projector should be used with a dimming thermostat which will provide you with accurate control of your thermogradient.
The deep Heat projector produces virtually no visible light and can be used throughout the day and night. It will not upset the important day/night cycles (circadian rhythms)
Reptiles associate heat with high levels of light in the day, as such The Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projector is ideal for use alongside Arcadia Reptile UVB systems and Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED plan growth systems.
The Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projector really does have it all.
- Provides essential Infra-Red A and B
- Heats deep into the muscle tissues
- Energy efficient, low carbon footprint. 50w = 100w CHE/Standard lamp
- Wide beam and fast warm up
- E27 screw fit, Dimming stat ready
- Longer life.
- Wild Re-Creationª
Was recommended this after my gargoyle gecko lost his appetite, worked fantastically well and I'm really impressed
We started off with a heat mat, it worked, but it did not really seem to give him the energy. since installing the deep heat projector along with the dimming thermostat he is like a different Leo, much more active and out and about. dont think twice about it, just get it!

Nighttime temperatures drop here so the DHP is vital to keeping the tank at the right temps without lighting it up
After using the standard heat mat for a year, I was upgrading the tank as a whole and thought I would make the jump into using a dhp, its early days but he does really seem to like lying on the slate at night to get some of that toasty belly heat. I'm yet to see a daytime sploot, but I will keep my fingers crossed

I had been thinking of buying one of these units for well over a year now, since reading up on them. Well, my 6yr old Bearded Dragon sure thinks it was money well spent ! I've replaced his basking lamp with it, above his large natural basking stone, what a difference, he stays there all day and is warmed all the way through, far better than with the heat lamp ! I have to remove him at lights out and put him to bed, otherwise he'd stay there all night ! ;-) I'm looking into reconfiguring my 5ft Green Iguanas set up , with a pair of these heaters, they are a lot smaller, safer and efficient than the existing set-up. They will certainly get him up to temperature a lot more thoroughly in the mornings. Definitely a much needed addition to the reptile heating equipment in many a year !!
