Description

This Arcadia Bird replacement 8watt 2.4% UV-B specialist bird lamp will help to ensure fantastic colour vision in pet birds kept inside and allow them to make their own Vitamin D3 naturally.

This sleek lamp is flicker free when used with Arcadia bird fittings and full-spectrum+UV-B. These lamps have a high CRI and are UV-B potent for one whole year of use. Providing an artificial source of UV light is often overlooked when keeping birds.

These bulbs are designed to emit 12% UVA and 2.4% UVB. This will promote optimal vitamin D3 synthesis and optimal colour vision. This will promote natural behaviour, increase mineral assimilation, storage and use and improve captive breeding

Simple to fit lamp kit and good balance of light. Got two so both cages and flight perch area are gently bathed. Cockatiels very happy and sing merrily.

I ordered the last 4 they had at that time, because I had to use the last replacement bulb I had at home, when 1 of the bulbs blew the night before. While they had 4 in stock at very reasonable prices and they were delivered in great packaging. Until another bulb blows, I'm not going to mess about trying them out, to check if they work or not. I have to assume they will and these bulbs only last about a year, so with 2 lights being used for my birds, 1 bulb should get changed within the next few months. Customer service was great when i contacted them to see if they had any more or getting more in. I don't like giving 5 stars for something I haven't even tried yet, but I gave them, because everything so far, is 5 star :)
