The ProRep Ceramic Lamp Holder has been designed to withstand high temperatures experienced when using ceramic heaters and heat lamps. Included is a fixing bracket and screws for securing the holder to the ceiling of a vivarium. Manufactured to EU safety standards and fitted with a 2 metre high temperature rated silicone cable the Pro Rep Ceramic Lamp Holder is compatible with all lamps and heaters with an E27 lamp fitting rated up to 300w.

    The product itself is fine but unfortunately, on the site, it should tell you what guard is suitable. Will only work with the large rectangular one. I found this out the hard way!

    Easy to install, always recommend this heater fitting and use a white python slim heater and standard guard

    I've installed this for my bearded dragon basking bulb. Easy to fit and is very sturdy.

    I only buy ceramic lamp holders but most cords are plastic based whereas this one was silicone; Much safer with a lower melt risk.
