Pelleted food especially designed for rearing tadpoles, containing proteins, algae and other vegetarian nutrients important for the healthy development from tadpole to frogs.
It’s a bit early to say how good the Tadpole Food is hence the 3 stars, as they are running late and have not yet gained their back legs. Dropped a little onto a shelf, but no actual interest from the tadpoles so far. Maybe when they are older they will be getting stuck in.
The taddies seem to really eat the good with enthusiasm
And I now need to get some more bc my 5yo tipped half the packet into the pond in one go. Still, the tads have grown.
Ordered, confirmed,in the post. It doesn’t get much better that . Would recommend this company.
My tadpoles love this stuff! As bottom feeders they get what they can from the pond but when I sprinkle this on the pond they initially go berserk. Had 5 frogs visit this year and have more tadpoles than ever so it was important that the "weaker" ones were able to feed and survive.
A lapse on my part had me choosing this particular style of tadpole food. It is of a high standard, and I,m drawn to repeating the order. I did, however, oversight on the instruction that the food "may only be accepted once it has sunken to the floor".Previously I had been supplying surface food and was obtaining joy at viewing the tadpoles tucking in!.It,s pretty quiet on top now and i only hope they,re diving down for it.Replenishing-time is close by and i,ll probably stick with the "Quappo", hoping there down there scoffing it all. Tadpoles seem to be liking their new grub. Thanks.
Seem to like it but I haven’t seen many sinceI received the food so perhaps they have left the pond!!
