Christmas & New Year Schedule

Online Orders

ORDERS PLACED NOW WILL BE DESPATCHED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN THE NEW YEAR.  THERE IS UNPRECIDENTED DEMAND FOR LIVEFOOD PRODUCTS SO PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR PROCESSING, DESPATCH AND DELIVERY OF ALL ORDERS

Due to unprecedented demand orders placed after midday on Dec 29th will be processed for despatch in the New Year, order now for the earliest possible despatch, all orders shipped on a first come, first served basis.  Please see below for previous information and cut off dates.  Note we are NOT able to guarantee any despatch or delivery dates at this time although we continue to do everything we can to ensure the fastest possible despatch.

Main Warehouse Orders (Equipment/Dry Goods)

Main Warehouse Orders (those that do not contain Livefood, Frozen Food, Perishables, Bulk or special order items) will continue to be despatched over the Christmas Period to avoid delays or backlogs.

Order now for the fastest available despatch time on a first come, first served basis. 

There are a number of bank holidays throughout this period when our staff and those working for delivery companies will be having a well deserved break. Along with earlier and more restrictive parcel collections and deliveries on site some orders may take longer to process or deliver at the moment meaning we are not currently able to offer delivery dates or despatch timescales.

Live and Frozen Food Orders

Orders containing live/frozen food placed before 10am on Tuesday 29th December will be processed for despatch on the 29th.  In the event of high order volumes or other unforeseen problems to ensure fairness we will despatch orders on a first come, first served basis and it is possible that some of these orders may have to be sent on Wednesday 30th.  

We would kindly ask customers do not order if there are known issues or delays with post in their local area as our breeders standard live arrival policy will not apply for orders despatched on 29th/30th December.  We also reserve the right to hold orders until the New Year should we deem it necessary to do so. 

Orders containing live/frozen food placed after 10am on Tuesday 29th December will be processed for despatch in the New Year - the first week in the new year is always extremely busy and with increased restrictions due to coronavirus looking likely we expect an extremely busy week.  

Our standard delivery services resume in the New Year but please allow for potential delays due to any courier backlogs and coronavirus restrictions

Our main store remains closed to the public at this time.  For all local purchases please shop at our partner store Medusa Exotics who are based in Carlton Nottingham and have access to our complete product range over the holidays.

Orders placed after 10am Tuesday 29th December

 

  • Despatched in the New Year – FROM 4th January on a first come first served basis.

 

Demand will exceed capacity (especially for live food) on the 4th so please order early for the first available despatch.  We hope backlogs will clear quickly over the week. Please order with Priority Tracked Delivery for any important order

 

Orders Placed after Pre-Xmas Cut off times but before 10am Tuesday 29th December

 

  • Livefood/Frozen Food – Despatched 29th/30th December subject to demand
  • Equipment – despatched asap subject to demand and limited collection dates - we hope to clear any backlogs by New Years Eve.
